A Facebook group is similar to a Facebook fan page but lacks much of the functionality a fan page has. A Facebook group revolves more around a concept than supporting something or someone. An example of a Facebook group is something like "People who love goats," where people that love goats would join and talk about their love for goats, whereas a Facebook fan page could be titled with your business name and people would become a fan of your business.
