9. 2012

Starring: John Cusack

Release Date: Nov. 13

Many crazy people believe that the year 2012 symbolizes the end of the human race. 2012 tells the tale of those that survive the devastation. I don't think it will win any Oscars but the special effects are sure to be cool.

8. Ninja Assasin

Starring: Rain

Just the title of this movie tells me it's going to be rad. An action packed story of revenge with great martial arts and special effects. What more could you ask for?

7. The Twilight Saga: New Moon

Starring: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson

Release Date: Nov. 20

Don't laugh... this movie will probably be #1 on this list for box-office take. Vampires and sexy people, the ladies dig it.

6. Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans

Starring: Nicholas Cage, Eva Mendes, Val Kilmer

Release Date: Nov. 20

While Nick Cage and his refusal to cut that mullet has been a big disappointment over the last few years (since Lord of War), this one looks to be an improvement. Nick plays a rogue detective with a drug problem in New Orleans post Hurricane Katrina. Sound good so far? Oh yeah... Eva Mendes plays a hooker and Xzibit has a role, pretty much going to be the best movie ever.

5. Invictus

Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman star in the tale of Nelson Mandelas partnership with the captain of the South African rugby team and the way the two helped unite their country.

4. Avatar

Director James Cameron delivers a live action film with a whole new generation of special effects. This move, a tale of redemption and an epic battle to save civilization, will be released in 3D and IMAX. One thing is for sure, the graphics will be like nothing we've ever seen before.

3. Pirate Radio

Starring: Phillip Seymour Hoffman

Release Date: Nov. 13

Phillip Seymour Hoffman stars in a story about how 8 DJ's who's love for Rock n' Roll changed history. Sure to be full of Sex, Drugs, and Rock n' Roll with maybe the odd history lesson and some good acting.

2. Sherlock Holmes

Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams

Release Date: Dec. 25

The greatest detective in the history of the world embarks on a new adventure with his best friend. Directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock, Jude Law as Watson and Rachel McAdams as some super hot evil chick and filled with action, mystery and comedy this movie will not disappoint.

1. The Road

Starring: Viggo Mortenson, Robert Duvall, Charlize Theron

An adaption of the best selling Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Cormac McCarthy. The Road is an adventurous tale of a man's journey with his son through the post-apocolyptic world. Just watch the trailer.
