2010 will be a very exciting year for new gadgets as we build upon the amazing technological advances made in the last few years. Below is a list of 11 New Gadgets for 2010 that you will definitely want to watch for.

11. Sony Cyber-Shot Digital Camera

The newest Sony Cyber-Shot digital point-and-shoot cameras will come equipped with GPS and a digital compass. Users can use Google Maps to find the best shooting spots. The DSC-HX5V and DSC-TX7 cameras are the smallest and thinnest AVCHD (Advanced Video Codec High Definition) capable camera.

10. Sanyo Xacti Video Camera

The new Sanyo Xacti cams are lighter and thinner than ever before. The VPC- SH1 is a little larger but comes with 1080p recording, a 35mm wide-angle lens, 30x optical zoom and takes 4 megapixel photos while the 1-inch thick VPC-CS1 records 1080p, but only has 10x zoom and takes 3 megapixel stills.

9. Mint Automated Vacuum

Mint, from Evolution Robotics, uses the Swiffer Dry and Wet Cloths to dust and mop. This machine is only $250 and is smart enough to navigate and clean a room systematically without human assistance.

The iTablet, a touch screen tablet from Apple, has been rumoured to be ready to go sometime in 2010. As with all things Apple, this tablet will be sleek looking and rumour has it the screen will not be OLED but will be a 10.1" LTPS LCD like the screen of the iPhone.

The new wireless keyboard from Microsoft has a crazy design. The Microsoft Arc looks much like it's mouse companion with curvy design. The keyboard is your standard wireless keyboard, but taking a page out of Apple's book and spending time on product design looks good on Microsoft.

6. HTC Smart Touch Screen Phone

A brand new HTC "Smart" phone has been announced for release in Europe and Asia. The phone will use the BREW operating system from Qualcomm, a much cheaper platform which will likely pass on the savings to buyers.

5. Panasonic SC-HTB1 Home Theater Audio System

The new Panasonic SC-HTB1 home theatre audio system puts a subwoofer in to the soundbar. It is a small all-in-one speaker system that sits in front of your TV and has Plug-and-Play HDMI set-up.

4. Sony BDP-S770 Blu-ray Player

The Sony BDP-S770 Blu-ray player comes with 3D capabilities, Wi-Fi, Netflix integration and an iPhone remote control app. This Blu-ray player even has DLNA support for sharing content across a home network.

3. Skiff Reader E-Book Reader

The Skiff Reader is the largest, but thinnest E-Book reader to date. With an 11.5" Metal Foil touch screen the Skiff Reader manages to be just 1/4" thick. This allows the Skiff Reader to be flexible and durable compared to it's glass screen competitors.

Panasonic has developed the world's largest 3D plasma TV. At a staggering 152", this TV has 4k x 2k (4,096 x 2,160 pixels) resolution and full DH 3D plasma display. The 152" 3D plasma TV also has several advances that speed up display and optimize it for 3D display.

The new Samsung Projector phone uses the the newest Texas Instrument DLP Pico WVGA Chipset. The Chipset has a 845 x 480 resolution and a 2000:1 contrast ratio for projection sizes greater than 50".
